Matthew E. Ritchie has been practicing law in North and West Texas for more than fifteen years. For most of that time, his practice has primarily consisted of insurance defense, insurance coverage, and insurance agent errors and omissions litigation.
Mr. Ritchie is admitted in the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas, as well as the United States Courts of Appeals for the Fifth and Tenth Circuits. He regularly handles litigation in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, as well as Abilene and the surrounding communities. He has both trial and appellate litigation experience on the Federal and State levels. Recently, he served as counsel for the appellee in Trumble Steel Erectors, Inc. v. Johnny Moss, et. al, 304 Fed. Appx. 236 (5th Cir. 2008), a case involving insurance agent liablity issues, as well as the notice/prejudice rule in Texas.
